Hey guys, so I'm trying to animate this coil to wind and unwind but I can't figure how I could do it. The middle part should rotate but the outer part should stay fixed. It was not modeled in Maya so it is just a mesh with no history. I would really prefer to not need to model it in Maya. Underneath you can see a screenshot of the part as well as a gif of the animation I am trying to get.
