Issue exporting deformations to fbx

I have an issue on maya 2023 with exporting deformations to fbx

 

Heard there is a new system to deformation on maya and i dont understand it

 

I cant export any deformations to fbx formats

i need it for unity

You can export a fbx with joints, skin deformation, and blendshapes that's it. You can bake your deformers like delta mush in the weights of the skinned mesh. When you export an fbx, select the mesh and joints and in the options select animation, blendshapes, skins, and shape attributes. If you have a mesh that is with out a skeleton, you can export an Alembic. Unity will import alembic.

do you have a skeleton? What deformer are you talking about?

If you set keys on the joints you can export an animation. It won't move either wise. I should export fine. Select the cylinder and skeleton only and export as an fbx.
