Change to 60 FPS persistent or delete non needed fps in Fps Enum

Hey everyone,

pretty simple. Iam looking for a possiblity to change the FPS on the bottom right permanent to 60 FPS. Of course i know, normally maya save an option by closing the software and reopen it. But for the FPS it doesn't work. I switches always back to standard (24 fps)

I went trough a lots of maya files looking for that ENUM of frames per second. But there are a lot files with that list.
So anyone an idea how to change it permanent to 60fps so i do not need always to switch?

Can't you set Preferences>Settings>WorkingUnits>Time to 60fps? Saves mine 24 and 25fps, shouldn't be a problem for 60 too.

Sadly no. It gets always reset.

Hi!

File > New Scene [Options] > Time

.. or simply enable Do Not Reset Working Units (in @mspeer 's mentioned solution), then it won't override Preferences' setting.

Hey, also thank you for your reply. I keep the button in mind. Problem is solved. For some reason i never clicked on New Scene Options.
