Advanced Skeleton 'InitialShadingGroup' Error

Hello,

I am currently working on a robot rig using Advanced Skeleton for a class. I started with the 'model clean' which went through and the 'model check' which said the model is symmetrical.

When I got to the section where you scale or autoplace for the 'FitSkeleton' it gave me an error that said

'initialShadingGroup

The above HistoryNodes were found.

This will likely cause errors if you proceed.

It is recommended that you use the 'Model Clean' tool, before rigging'

But I used the model clean tool before I started rigging and I made sure it was referencing the correct cleaned model. Im not sure if it is because of which group or object(s) I am selecting for my 'skin' but there is no skin to the robot (I have tried selecting just the main body (minus heads, arms, legs), then I tried all of that minus the eyelids (since they are separate from the head) and I even tried all of it (each time minus the eyeballs but I still got that error and it seems like I would get it for whatever I would select for the skin.

Thank you so much for your time.
