Character floating up in y access

I'm having a problem with my Maya scene. My character floats up off the floor in y access. The character is supposed to be moving forward in the scene but, as it moves forward, it is also unintentionally floating upwards steadily (even though the feet say they are at zero in the y access) Any idea why it would do this? Everything looks fine in graph editor and the character's main control is stationary. Ive been working on this scene for a while without issue and the character suddenly started to float upwards. Not sure what I could have changed to make it do this. I'm using Maya 2015 if that helps. Thanks!

Hi @Anonymous and welcome to the community!

If you got to Windows->Settings/Prefs->Settings what is your World Coordinate System set to, Y or Z?

It's possible this may have been reversed and you'll want to switch it back to Y or Z whichever you were working with before.

If that doesn't work, when you get a chance can you please zip and attach the scene file here or via dropbox/google drive or another file sharing program so I can take a look at it?

Please let me know if anything changes!
