Cannot read animation render output. Please help

Hi all,

I've just gotten in Maya recently, so I'm not all that familiar with the software. I've been trying to render this animation sequence on Maya recently, and I've set the settings to get the output as Jpeg images. But to my surprise they gave me these files instead? I have no idea why the files are like this (See attachments).

Attached below are the settings I used for my animation.

Please assist I need these animations really soon.

Hi!

These are JPG images.

When setting the File Output in Render Settings, make sure to use for "Frame/Animation ext" a template that has the "ext" at the end, like "name#.ext" .

Why I couldn't open them even though they are Jpeg images? I tried opening them with various softwares but to no avail.

Hi!

Every application that "can" ignore the file ending should be able to open the images.
You also can rename them to ___.jpg
