Reload property values from disk

I'm looking for a method to refresh iProperty values from disk without having to close and reopen the document. FileManager.RefreshAllFiles() does not appear to reload property data.

Inventor can do this internally since it asks you if you want to use the "on-disk" or "in-memory" properties if you open the iProperties editor for a file where the "on-disk" file properties have been modified outside Inventor. Does the non-apprentice API have such a method, or can this be done with some windows code?

Neil

Hi,

Could you please explain step by step what you want to do.
Would you like to edit properties with the file explorer of Windows an then update it in inventor or what?

Regards,
