Model state switching and parts-only parts lists of super assemblies

Hi

 

I have a strange problem.

 

I have a test script that simply cycles through the model states of a superassembly. Whenever I run the script in the assembly and save (or 'Save and Run' the script), the corresponding drawing's parts-only parts list (or perhaps any kind of parts list, but the others not visibly affected) seems to forget the identities of any/all subassembly parts, and renumbers and appends them to the back of the list.

 

Nothing is altered in the drawing: the parts list should be referring always to the same model state, which in turn should refer always to the same model states of its subassemblies, etc.

 

Is there any reason this might be happening? What can I do to avoid this behavior?
