Ilogic codes to overide missing parts relations etc

Hello there,

Depending upon the daily requirements for a quick response, I need to use a large section of ilogic code to create a model so I very often delete or hide unwanted features and parts from a master model. I then run into undesired results from ilogic.

Unless I have been very careful, the ilogic stalls the rebuild of the model until I have weeded out all of the conflicts, masked rules, masked relations and corrected any mistakes.

Is there a bit of simple code I can put into my ilogic rules to offer the option of preventing the ilogic stalling and requiring numerous edits to make it work. One of the worst offenders is broken relations.

Sometimes I am not even aware that all of the code has run or not as the case maybe, as it only errors on exit from a rule.

You have to create a logic to prevent the stalling yourself. That is how the search algorithms work in general. So you need to generally limit the search space with a heuristic or with an initial solution then iterate on it, both ways are pretty similar. ilogic is not optimized. You need to put the effort to make it close to optimized.

Some worthwhile ideas
Copy Design should rename ilogic Rules too!
