Customizing the Holes Feature

Is there any way to add new types of holes to the holes feature? There is
one very important type missing, a stepped hole. Basically it is a
counterbored countersunk hole, or in other words a counterbored hole that
the counter bore is not flat at the bottom. There is also a version that the
smaller diameter is tapped, known as a jack hole, that is used to raise a
tool steel component off of dowel pins.

Randy

Doubt there is any way to add holes to the hole feature but have you tried making a
iFeature to do what you want?

Can an iFeature be created programatically with VC and inserted into a
design without any user interaction? It would also have to have its
parameters adjustable for each individual occurance. It would also have to
be able to modify a part from within an assembly.
