Creating a workpoint in an assembly document

Does anyone know how to create a workpoint in an assembly document? I've found the commands that create new work points, but they only seem to apply to a part document.

Thanks
Murray

I've done a couple of things...

You can use a sketch to place the work point in the
IDW.  You'll need to basically draw a centerpoint and then annotate to
the intersection of the lines.  If this isn't what you're after,
the second option I've used is to place a tiny sphere on one of the parts
in the assembly, where the work point should be.

Neither of these are what I'd call good ways to do
the job, but they are workarounds that will get the drawing out.

Sorry, Walt, I just read my original post and I see its kind of vague. What I meant to ask was:

How can I create a work point in an assembly model (.iam) using the API? I have found out how to create one in a part model (.ipt), but I can't figure out how to do it in an assembly.

Murray,

Work features in an assembly aren't currently
supported by the API.  It is planned though.
