CreateInstance(L"Inventor.Application") fails

Hello,

A windows EXE application when creating an instance of Inventor fails with this error. 

 Error = -2146959355,Description = (null),Message = Server execution failed

On our system this creates Inventor instance but it fails on a customer machine (windows 10, Inventor 2017) with the above error.

Sample code

ApplicationPtr m_spInvApp;
hr = m_spInvApp.CreateInstance(L"Inventor.Application");

if(FAILED(hr) || m_spInvApp == NULL)
{
_com_error err(hr);
_bstr_t bstrDesc = err.Description();
_bstr_t bstrMsg = err.ErrorMessage();
CString strErrMsg;
strErrMsg.Format(L"Error = %ld,Description = %s,Message = %s",err.Error(),(LPCTSTR)bstrDesc,(LPCTSTR)bstrMsg);
}

Any ideas on what could be the reasons for this error.

Don't use the "L".

hr = m_spInvApp.CreateInstance("Inventor.Application");
