Change thread standard on an existing bolt family in content center

Hello,

We are currently on Inventor and Vault 2020.

I couldn't find a standard library for stud bolts with UNC/8UN threads and therefore my plan was to copy one of the DIN libraries for studs and change the details to match with my requirements.

However, it seems like I can't change the thread type and size from METRIC to UNC/8UN.

Therefore I am curious to learn how to proceed. I could certainly keep the bolts as METRIC and simply change the description on them, but that is cheating and if I for any reason need to call-out the thread in the model or drawing I presume it will still show as METRIC?

Your feedback is highly appreciated.

create a normal part and add that thread you need.

Now copy exact this name into you family table.
