We are facing an issue with the API method GetAlternateBody, which does not close UV loops properly when there is a coil or a revolve feature on the part definition, it does return less than the supposed to be faces split in order to prepare that surface body for the mesh.
Actually, we are trying to solve the issue now as a workaround by splitting the faces around U and V parameters but we didn't find a helpful way to do it on the transient surface body using the inventor API.
This is needed as some of our users face these issues while trying to mesh some of their models, but they got failures in the meshing process due to the non-proper close/split of UV loops/faces in the such mentioned features cases.
Could you please help to point me in the correct direction to solve this issue.
