Would like Rule to trigger as soon as the part is open

I have written a rule that once is triggered then creates my part. I just don't know how to start the rule without clicking on anything as I want it to be the first thing that comes up when i open the part. I know it may be a basic answer, Cheers.

You can use the Trigger events to run a rule on a specific event. You can find "event trigger" on the manage tab. Simply drag your rule to the desired event. There is a "After open document" event that will help you.

I have made a template that has the rule within it, I tried adding that event rigger into the template, yet when i load a new part from the template the event trigger doesn't seem to be working

When you have a rule that needs to be trigger after creation of your document then you need to add that rule to the "New Document" event. It's also possible to add the same rule to multiple triggers. So you can trigger the same rule on document creation and after the document is opened the next time.
