Hi

I am keen to start learning vb.

Where is best to start. I have absolutely no programming experience whatsoever.

Thanks Paul.

Have you looked at the programming help in inventor? That is a good place to start but I think it would do you good to go to your local book store and see what you can find on a beginners book on vb and learn a little from that before diving into this, just my thoughts.

I would tend to agree with Mike about finding a beginners book for VB and starting with that.  Microsoft also has some great online material for beginners to go along with the free Express editions of their various programming tools.  Here's the link to the VB learning materials they have.

This is a good book to get you going with the basics. I went through this and then hopped onto the Inventor specific stuff and the websites I listed above.

Hope it helps

Thanks all.

I've been reading a few documents and its taking a bit to sink in.

I'm going to persevere, because I find this very interesting.
