Cabn anyone provide some basic code to turn on/off the Active Edge Display?

The access to this toggle was introduced in R11, so its not available in
previous releases. You can access this using:

Application.DisplayOptions.ShadedDisplayOptions.EdgeDisplayForActiveComponents

Here is some VBA code to turn on the display flag.

Sub DisplayOptions()

Dim oShadedOptions As ShadedDisplayOptions
Set oShadedOptions = ThisApplication.DisplayOptions.ShadedDisplayOptions

oShadedOptions.EdgeDisplayForActiveComponents = True

End Sub
