i hope there will be similar add-in with drawing view scale. neither ilogic nor prompt entry is good enough.

I like your sheet metal extents add-in. I have used it for few years. It works fine!

What specifically would you like to see with regards to drawing view scale?

My guess is that he would like the titleblock to automatically read the scale, rather than the user having to set it somehwere or use iLogic to accomplish the same thing. Also for use in sketched symbols.

Problems with his idea, however are:

What if the drawing view scales vary?

What if they are not to scale?

Which View does it pull the scale from?

These are easily manageable enough with some basic logic, but where places use different standards or not could complicate things - or mean there would be a Scale Standard as well in the Standards and Styles editor.
