Unspecified Error-possibly tied to BOM table

in one of my template files, I ran into this problem.

this message shows up when I created a custom LOD and a user true/false parameter in the assembly file, and a BOM table

is inserted into the idw file.

anyone ran into this issue? how do I get it resolved?

Hi, can you post a screenshot of the "More Info" tab from the error? And also the rule "Transfer", so we can dig up the problem.

The problem is in the last line. It's failing to run the rule in the assembly file.

My guess would be you don't have the assembly file ("POLE BASE.idw") currently open, right?

Anyway, why are you running the rule in the assembly?

I do have the assembly file open when I tried to test it.

I am kinda new to Inventor ilogic, I didnt know the best way to approach this problem.

well, the goal is to be able to have users input info in idw, and depending on the input, certain conduits will disappear

in all the views.

is there a better/more efficient way to solve this?
