I searched and found a post back from 2005 asking if Welds could be suppressed, and it was said to be slated for a future release. Has this happened yet?
I have a test assembly that has a series of 15 bead welds. If I select one, then the document's select set is empty. So I select the top level Welds, and I get a component occurrence for them. It has no suboccurrences, and its component definition type is a WeldsComponentDefinition object with no occurrences. The parent assembly's WeldmentComponentDefinition does not list the welds in its occurrences. Is there no way to get a component occurrence for the welds?
I also noticed you can suppress them as features, but they're not listed in the document's features collection. Where is this information located at?
