Showing architectural units in BOM

I am making a bill of materials for a structural steel frame, and am having difficulty showing architectural units.  Item 2 below is two C-channels that are 6'-11 1/2" long, and I would like to display it in that format rather than decimal inches.  How do I get the BOM to show architectural units with fractions?

Thanks!

Hi,

You need to export all parameters in the parts and assemblies as "Text" and then choose the format "Fractional"

This means you need to take a look in the models that are represented in the BOM and the Partslist.

BOM is in the assembly.

Partslist is on the drawing but is a representation of the BOM.

I'm guessing this is what your looking for? It's pretty simple, edit the parts list, right click the column and choose format column.  In that dialog you will need to enable Apply units formatting and then choose units to FT and Format to fraction (stacked etc...)

Thanks!  I was dancing all around that but never hit it.  I tried doing inches and fractions, and feet with decimals, but never tried feet with fractions; I guess I skipped it because I was hoping to see the inches show up. Anyway, it worked!
