Setting and indicating the units in drawings

I am using Inventor to design a mask for a chip the dimensions of which naturally lend to working in micrometres or nanometres.

Whilst I have been able to set the units when designing parts to micrometres, I am unable to do the same in the drawings.

Please assist!

When using iLogic or VBA Inventor always uses cm as its units. I always hard coded the conversion from cm to whatever myself.

Here is a link with more info. It's old (2012) but the units information near the top is still relevant.

You want to change your drawing dimension style. Like this.

Thank you for your response.

The link you posted hasn't proved useful unfortunately.

I would expect the units specified in

Tools > Documents Settings > Units

to apply universally. Why are the drawing units different, and how do I specify them? I am using Autodesk Inventor 2017.
