Save parts from multibody part

Hi,

I have a lot of part with 5 or more individual bodies with full feature history. (For example 5 individually extruded cubes).

I would like to seperate these solids to 5 different derived parts. I found a way to highlight them, but i couldn't figure out how to place them in new parts. Could you help me if it is possible?

If I'm not mistaken  what your looking to do is replicate the make component command. If so here is a post from a few weeks ago that is doing that and placing them in an assembly. It is selecting all surfacebodies but if you want to filter them to select only a few you can either manually select or filter by name.
