How big is your drawing? It takes FOREVER to process a medium -> large assembly so it might just be slow not dead.

My thoughts on it and other options here.

Hi there and thanks for the replay 🙂

the version 1 is perfect solution.... but!

I have a model that consist of 3 different parts. A frame and 2 different louvres.

I control the model with excel tabel and when i add colors on edges, and the suprres/unsuprres the parts, the colors in my drawing are gone (they are black again) 😞

Thats why i whant to add colors to my model and than match them to idw layer

the code processes existing curves (edges) but any new curves are still drawing on standard layers.

Try and set the part to that layer. Use my method for selecting the part and set it to a layer then try suppress/unsuppress just to see if it works. if it

remmebers the part layer.

You could run the code with itriggers when drawing changes. I found it too slow though.

So you would have to run the code everytime the model changes :(.

Processing the info curve-by-curve takes forever. Processing them by body, part or assembly is almost instant but I haven't looked into coding that.
