Rectangular Pattern of Sub-assembly with LOD iLogic

I have a configurable assembly which has a number of sub-assemblies within it, some of which are also configured from iLogic rules within the top level assembly and are rectangular patterned.

The problem I have is that the original sub-assembly is set to "iLogic" LOD and is configured correctly, but then when it is patterned, the subsequent element assemblies are still in "Master" LOD and so don't reflect the correct configuration.

Is there an easy way to force all the elements of the pattern to match the LOD of the original sub-assembly or do I have to code this in to force each one manually into the "iLogic" LOD somehow? If so, what's the best way of going about this?

I created a test scenario for this:

Part 1 -a widget

AsmBase - insert 2 widgets (side by side), save file with a level of detail that suppresses 1 widget

AsmPattern - insert asmbase, create rotated pattern.

AsmPattern must have a level of detail representation that is NOT set to MASTER in order to display the level of detail of ASMBase.  When I used the representation... command found on the browser when right-clicking on the AsmBase:1 component, and set the Level of Detail to the custom level of detail that suppresses 1 part, then Inventor Automatically created a level of detail representation for AsmPattern.  My array then showed a single arrayed object.  I MUST SAVE AT THIS POINT.  Any attempt to switch to Master on the AsmPattern will loose the Level of Detail setting for the >1 elements in the pattern, and can NOT be reset without recreating the pattern.  However, you can delete the pattern, and recreate, then SAVE while in the custom Level of Detail (AsmPattern), and the setting will retain itself when swapping Level of Detail to Master and back to custom.

Seems like forcing the sub-assembly pattern elements into their custom LODs when the top level assembly is also in it's custom LOD and then saving brings it back into sync. I'm not sure how it got out of sync in the first place.

Wouldn't it be nice if there was an option in the pattern tool to ensure each element matched the original?
