Publish ipart , Feature pattern not working

I have an ipart, an end plate that has rows of holes that vary ,created using feature pattern
The ipart works find when I select a part the number of hole rows update correctly with the selected plate
But when I publish it to Content center the plate updates OK but I can not get the hole rows to update.
The family table shows the row variable to be correct.
Any suggestion.

I have no explanation for this problem, but, for a similar problem I found the following solution:
1. I defined a user parameter Z, for example, with mm as UM.
2. For the parameter of no of instances I made an ecuation Z [mm]/1 [mm].

So that CC items are sensible to pattern no of instances.
