Pattern and Dimensioning Error

Hi Guys,

I have one query, let say we have a pattern of holes (10 instances and 100mm pitch).

and in draft we have provide the dimensions to the pattern .(refer attached image)

Now if we change the instances to (like say reduced to 8 or higher say 11).

Now the issues is in the draft the last instance that is 10th, got disappeared which also affect the provided dimension to the instance.

Is there any chance that we can fix the issue, that if we change the instaces then it will not affect the first and last one and dimension will remain unaffected.

Regards,

Have a nice time.

What I did in the past:

Make first hole, and make last hole.

The last hole is on distance (qty * 100)

The first hole is patterned with a featurepattern, but if you need 8 holes, the pattern is 7 holes.

Then on the drawing i put centers and dimensions on the first and last hole, they always exist.

If that workflow can't work for you, then I'm afraid you have to make the centers and dimensions with code.

That can be pretty tricky
