options for Row merge Feature in INventor BOM

Hello,

                  Good day.Row Merge feature in Inventor Bill of Materials window, we have an option to turn on "Enable Row merge on Partnumber Match". Is there a way to actually match more properties along with part number?

 ex: we have custom ND ,Material custom SCHEDULE properties. For instance part number can be the same for two entities in BOM but have one of the other values like custom Schedule, Material might be different.

So when I enable row merge with partnumber option, the material shows "varies" and for some other parts it shows "varies"  on custom SCHEDULE and material .I used the partnumber of that item in exclude list so that they wont roll up ,which shows all the items that have the same partnumber (not rolledup).

But again ,I want to have the items roll up which have same custom Schedule and Material .for example, pipe size (custom ND) 10 have few items with schedule 40 and material A106B and one item schedule 80 material A333-6 .when I enable merge row settings with partnumber match,it rolls up all items with ND 10 but material column shows "varies" as one of the item is a different material.but if I use the partnumber  in exclude list then it breaks down ,which is ok .

my question is can it still roll up all the items with ND10 MATERIAL CODE A106B?

The same request has been actually logged as an enhancement request in the Inventor IdeaStation. I'd like to encourage you to vote for the idea so that we can review it for future implementation. 

Merge BOM Rows based on properties other than Part Number

Until then, other users in this forum might be able to help you with some customization.
