Not finding a file

Got an odd one, have a program that copies a file into the project folder, and then opens it to change some stuff. The program works well for a couple of times, and then Inventor gives an error to say the file is not in the folder, even though it is. If I shut inventor down and restart all works well for a couple of runs.

Any ideas ?
