macro problem...

I'm using IV10 sp3 and wrote a small macro that pops up a userform when an .ipt file (part template) is opened. The form is stored in the default.ivb file and referenced from the document project. Initially I was getting a "Failed to open document" error unless the VB editor was open, but that was corrected by keeping the default.ivb location on the local machine. However, the problem now is that if that template is used to create a part from within an assembly, I get the same "Failed to open document" error (unless the VB editor is open).

Anyone know how this might be fixed?
