Inventor Studio stuck on loading

So i was working on some animations in Inventor. All went well untill a certain point where Inventor studio wouldn't load for me anymore. This is quite odd, seeing as it worked fine for me before. Whenever i try to open the Inventor Studio it keeps getting stuck on "Excecuting Enter Environment Inventor Studio". It might have something to do with the fact that i had alot of animations made already, and i'm working on a mediocre laptop. Still though, i don't see why it would suddenly stop working for me. Does anyone know what may cause this problem? Thanks in advance!

some times settings in the windows registry get changed causing some starnge behaviour.

from the start menu under Inventor 2016 and 2017 there is a Reset utility that will set all settings to default.

most of the time Inventor works correct again after that.

if you work with an older version of Inventor you can go directly to the windows registry, (run: Regedit)

and go to : HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Autodesk\Inventor.

right click on it and select export, after that delete it.

do this ONLY for the Hkey Current user!!

If you now start Inventor it is like a new installation

Thank you for your reply.

However, will i lose all my settings when i do this? For example, i have changed quite a few settings which help me for making sketches etc. Will i lose all of these when i do this?

that's correct, you will lose your settings.

you shortcut key settings you can/have to export, those are different settings.

You can try to export your settings from Inventor (Application Options) but the problem can be that if you restore it, you will have the same problem again.

normally you can make all the settings in 10 minutes? now you can't work at all with Inventor studio...

I'm doubt that my settings are the problem. Inventor Studio works fine on other files, just not on the one i was working on yesterday. I'm guessing because i had ALOT of animations and my laptop might not be able to handle that. Do you know any way i can delete those animations so i can get it to work again? Thanks for the help so fat by the way.

oh, if it is only with one file, than something else is wrong.

probably in the file.

with code you can't do anything with Inventor studio.

about crashes, look here:  http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/inventor-forum/inventor-2016-studio-camera-work/td-p/5606815

not sure if that will help...

maybe try Max or Showcase?
