Ilogic - Selecting Iparts with a form within an Iassebly

I am fairly new to Ilogic, so bare with me. I would as an end result like to have an automated iassembly based upon the different selections of iparts and iassemblies that make up the top level iassembly. kind of like a part number builder for a catalog. I have began this daunting task with creating all my require iparts and iassemblies, with imates that i want included into my top level iassembly. I have played with creating a rule and form on the ipart/iassembly level and was able to do that just fine, however when i went to start on the top level assembly. I was unable to switch the member levels of each individual ipart/iassembly within the top level iassembly. I am trying to see if there is a way to create a top level member with a form based upon the selections of the subcomponent iparts/iassemblies.

iLogic or programmings request should be posted in the Inventor Customization forum for best results.

I will have the moderator relocate your posting there to better suit your needs.

UPDATE:

I was able to figure out how to change the ipart that was in my iassembly(top level), now I am trying to apply the same ilogic to an iassembly but the member row doesn't change. I noticed that the file tree doesn't show the factory assembly file just the member file and the files used to create that assembly. When I select save and run, I recieve no errors either.
