Dear all,

My customer always need 2D data in .dwg and .pdf format. So I find smart way to export .pdf and .dwg with iLogic rule.

With the help of iLogic rule I am able to export my .idw file with one click in to .pdf and .dwg format. But for .dwg file it creating zipped folder when I run the rule, so again I need to unzipp the file which is not a good idea for every .dwg file. I am sharing video for better undersatnding. Can anybody please share the solution if having

Thank you in advance and best regards,

Dnyaneshwar Maid

Programming needs for Inventor should be posted in the Inventor Customization forum (for best results).

I will have the moderator relocate your posting there to best suit your needs.

@Dnyaneshwar_Maid Before you run the rule again do a manual "save copy as" , select "autocad dwg file" for the save as type and then press the options button before you press save.

When that options dialog box comes up uncheck "pack and go" in the post process section then press next. Then press the save configuration button and save those options..

Then try your rule again.

The default dwg translators used in the ilogic rule use those default options when saving the dwg file.. If pack and go is checked you will get a zip file.. If its not then you just get a dwg file.
