iLogic rule to replace a local rule with new code

Hi all

looking for help on an issue I have with ilogic and generic templates.

I have a generic template assembly which we copy and re-use in hundreds of files and I need to enact a change to the core functionality of how it works.

I have a rule Called limits that are stored locally within the assembly and I need to replace the rule with another rule copied from a network location or replace the code within that rule.

I am aware that I can just open and paste new code in. However, I am trying to automate this as I have 15 staff members to complete this task and I need to keep automated as possible.

Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

@DClunie,

In the below blog link, a .Net application is created to add iLogic into existing files. Hoping that this would be helpful.

Thanks and regards,
