iLogic - Forms - Add Form option missing & iProperties missing in Windows Explorer

Hi all,

As you can see in the title I have submitted two issues at the same time. Reason for posting them together is that both occurred at the same time.

The first one is that I cannot add forms to an ipt. Global forms work. Regular don't. Doesn't matter if the ipt is mine or someone else's. Location doesn't matter either. This is frustrating as I'm tasked with making the parametric models.

The second issue I have is that the iProperties tab does not exist anymore in the file properties window of Windows Explorer.

EDIT:
When I open a form and then close it, it's fine. When I open it, move the window a bit and then try to close it I get an unhandled exception HRESULT: 0x80004005. I'm stuck from that point on, because cliking close or the X in the top right also causes this exception. 

Does anyone know a setting or privilige causing this?

Our IT department can't figure it out. Our CAD admin neither.

We have tried:
* Clearing temp folder

* Playing with user rights in windows

* reinstalling Inventor

* reinstalling our custom toolbar

* repairing windows

* rolling back inventor updates

Next step would be a fresh copy of windows. But I'd rather not.

Is this happening with one specific ipt or every ipt (new and old)?

the age of the ipt doesn't really matter. The location neither. But some work and some dont.

Hi @r_kammingaGASBX.  Here is a link to a Technical Support case from late 2023, where iProperties were not being shown when hovering the mouse over Inventor files in file explorer.  Their advise was to 'update video drivers that Inventor is uses'.

Not sure if this will help, but just posting what I can find that sounds partially somewhat similar, just in case.
