Does anyone have an idea how to make iLogic who will do the following?
1) in the assembly environment, select parts that I want ...
2) On all selected parts, sfter runing iLogic, iLogic create 3 planes that pass through the center of each dimension (as shown in the figure)
Wouldn't it be much easier to just put your assemblies together with that in mind in the first place?
I guess you could always take a range box if the object isn't skewed and place planes and the center of that, but there are a lot of difficulties involved in making the planes do as you wish if each "selection" doesn't cover the entire face.
For now using the Add WorkPlane by Midplane or revising you modelling techinques are probably the best bet.
The only way I think it would make sense to have code for this is if you have a TON of assembly models that were done poorly in the first place (ie; > 50) and that need this as a retroactive fix for some reason.
