Hi

I have a question. How do I get colors from IDW to DWG, when exporting, I have a sketch symbol with color that is being exported, but objects that are in the view are not exported with colors. Why not. ? See attached file

Hope that you can help.

Hi there and welcome to this forum.
Can you show a screenshot form the colors they should be?

Hi,
That is the way Inventor works.
The view in Inventor is the representation of the part or assembly.
If you make a DWG from it, only the lines will be converted.

To have that in AutoCAD you need a hatch to give it a solid color.

(If you make a PDF you will get the solid view)

Hi Robert

Thanks for your reply, not the answer I was hoping for.

Perhaps it is possible to do a illogic code for this ?

If you make it an Inventor DWG you will get the color.
But that is not the AutoCAD DWG you like to have.
