If this 'description' is the standard iProperty, then you could simply set up the IDW document (best done in the drawing template) to automatically copy that iProperty from the 'model' document to the drawing document, when you place the first model view into the drawing. This can be done from the drawing side using the Tools tab > Options panel > Document Settings > Drawing tab > 'Copy Model iProperty Settings...' > , then checking the checkbox near the top, then choosing which iProperties from the list you want to be copied over, then click OK, OK.

Wow, I have asked vendors the best way to do this and they all said iLogic and wanted money to help create this iLogic. When in fact it was just a setting. Thanks for your help.
And another tool you will like...
If you change any of those copied iProperties within the model file, after the drawing has been created, they may not automatically update within the drawing file, so there is a ribbon tool button for updating those copied iProperties that are done this way. That button is on the Manage tab of your drawing, within the Update panel, named "Update Copied Properties". You can also right-click on that button, and choose "Add to Quick Access Toolbar" if you want. That way it will always be available, even if you are not currently on the Manage tab. (The option is greyed out in my image, because I already have it in my Quick Access Toolbar.)
