i-Logic rule to round down cut length in grame generated parts

Hi. hope someone  can help.

When creating a frame with frame generator and then adding the parts list to the drawing, i find it most annoying to see the cut length coming in at XXX.XXXmm long. i have found a way to round off the size in i-propeties but it still comes in the parts list/BOM with all the trailing zero's.

I have been searcing the community posts to see if there is some rules already written which i could adapt but not knowing an awful lot about i-logic code

i am not sure about the best way to achive my ends.

Go into the file whose name you want to round. Find the parameter that is set to Export and used in the description iProp. Right click and go to Custom Property Formatting. Change the settings as desired. It will now show up as desired in BOM's and Descriptions.

Hi Paul

Hope all is well and that you are in good health.

As I know your work environment it might be prudent to alter the frame generator part templates to reflect the decimal place amendment and then use 'replace family template' in the content center to do a global update on all the ACE Steel members.  If you have an acting vault admin who replaced J. Ish. they could sort this issue at the source with no more hassle of updating the part list on page 1.
