Highlight the face whose thickness is less than given value

Hi 

I have a problem in which I have given a part in which I will give some value in mm and the parts whose thickness is less than given value should be highlighted

for example

in the attachment the part with thickness less than given value are highlighted.

so I have to write the code for it

anybody please help
