equation curve by iLogic

Hi All,

How to create an iLogic to drive 3D equation curve?,

in sample below, 136 = pitch, 345 = radius of helical curve. So I need the easier way if I want to change input by other parameter for example change x(t) = 136+13.625*t^2 to make an accelerated pitch.

Thanks for any help

Hi,

I already logged the issue in our system and prepared my answer when I got back to my code to have a final look and realized what the problem was with calling SetEquation curve.

It works now 🙂

Hi Binsar,

That's because the API support for it was added in Inventor 2014:

Sorry for the bad news 😞

You are correct Adam, had tested previously in Inventor 2014 (trial), but our company decided to keep using Inventor 2013 till jump to Inventor 2015 begin next year. Will it working in 2015 version?

Regards,

Binsar.
