Design Tab Missing in inventor professional 2017 student version

  i am a student and i come to know that design tab is misssing in my version . i also have fdaddin.dll file in my path file .

Hi, I had the same issue with toolbars in both student version and full version.

Please follow the instructions from henerh:

This restored the toolbars to the way they should be, but beware that any customisation will be lost.

Following the instructions in the referred discussion is not working for me. Design Tab stays absent when I create a new part (and I'd need some spur gears)

Urgh... need to be in assembly to get this Tab - my bad - sorry!
