We use the Design Checker on the new designs.It has proven to be very helpful and it keeps the basic modelstandards throughout the design phase.
One question for the components that have not initially been designed with the Design Checker:
Is it possible to have the Design Checker iterate through an entire assembly (assembly prior to the implementation of the Design Checker) and give the checker results for the assembly components? The only result that we get for these assemblies/components is "No Design Checter Results".
Is there a way to call the Design Checker from the API and do an update? If this is possible we can just process an entire folder/project and the open the main assembly afterwards. Does anyone have experience with this?
