Design Accelerator, Chain Length , and Raw materialnumber VS Content Center

What I need

1. Easy way to chain

2. As auto. as possiible

3. Add a Custom properties name Rawmaterial with the partnumber I use for this chain

4. Add a Custom properties name G_L   that use as the total length of the chain

5. and descpirtion need to tall about chiantype and length something like this "Rollor Chain 3/8" Simplex x 500,0 mm"

I have a Centent Center that all most work ... the problem here is that you need to Change the model to a length that the chain can been and add this manual to a parameter call G_L that is export to a custom properties but there is that good chance that you will forget this

now I am also working on a way to use the the Design Accelerator ... I have found a way to add G_L to the model , but I can´t find a way to Add a Custom properties name Rawmaterial with the partnumber I use for this chain.. I am working on a illogic script to do this for I fear that it would be impossible to find a good way to control  to control when to ask you to select a chain and with not to.. I do not want Popup from hell or forget to change the info about the chain type.. got any ideer to do this ?

Unfortunately, still Design accelerator is unsupported by Inventor API. Please log this wish list at idea station using below link.

I am not sure you need Inventor API for this

have IPTRes files don't know that they do .... but the point is .... I can add a new properties to the Model files... and that way make a length of the exixst properties ... and I can change the existing  properties in some of the XML fil ... I can build an new gruppe of chain ... and give them a new name and I am pretty sure that I easily can need a new picture to show when selecte the chain .. have not try it jet ... but so fare all try to add an new properties that I can change by program the xml file... have fail more the ones ... I want my company part number for the chain on  chain... so I need a custom properties name Raw material  a 10 digital number ...
