CutFeature Issues

I have two issues revolving around CutFeature.Add and CutFeature.SetAffectedBodies, and I have attached some files that go with each. The first one is using the "CUT API WITH EXISTING SOLID BODIES.ipt".  When I run the internal rule called "CREATE PLATES", it fails on the creation of the cut command. For some reason it does not like if there are other solid bodies that already exist in the file.

I setup the second file "CUT API WITHOUT EXISTING SOLID BODIES", that does not have any existing solid bodies. In this one, it creates the cut and completes the rule without any errors. However, after the creation of the cut it should change the CutFeature.SetAffectedBodies to all solids that have "PLATE" in the name. The issue is that it doesn't update the cut.

Any help on these would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Evan - Thanks for reporting the issue in "CUT API WITHOUT EXISTING SOLID BODIES".  Unfortunately, the SetAffectedBodies function doesn't work on a CutFeature. This is internal issue INVGEN-82258. I don't know if there's any workaround other than to edit the feature manually.

Please let me know if you have a separate issue you'ld like to report in the first part.
