Customized toolbar button not working

Hi

I want to be able to save a copy of the sheet metal flatpattern within the sheet metal part environment simply by pressing a button, (we currently have to right click the flatpatern in the browser and then select save copy as). The main reason that i want this is because i always forget to export the dxf so that the part can be programmed, plus the current procedure isn't very intuitive for new users.

I have created a button (by dragging it from the customize toolbar dialogue box (see attachment) and placed it on the main toolbar. For some reason when i press this button nothing happens?

Anyone got any ideas why this doesn't work or a better way of doing it? why have the option for this in the customize options if it doesn't work?

Note. I have tried this with the standard 'save copy as' button (which saves a copy of the part but not the flat pattern) and this works.

I am still running inventor 2008! we are looking to upgrade soon so if this is fixed in later releases please could you let me know.
