Create a BSplineSurface in form of a revolved ellipse.

Is there an easy way create BSplineSurface from a full ellipse revolved around its center axis? Think; a surface that represents a 2:1 elliptical head.

You can't revolve full ellipse. You need to split it to two elliptical arcs.

Okay, is it possible to obtain a BSplineSurface object from a face proxy object?

It is much easier. You can use FaceProxy.Geometry property for it
