I have a starter assembly that I will copy specific parts and assemblies over and over for specific custom sizes...
CA Assembly
1. Sub Assembly & dwg
1.1 Part1 & dwg
1.2 Part2 & dwg
2. Part3 & dwg
Based off of the start assembly, the ilogic code will always be copying the same parts with the same name... only difference is I will add some user input as to Contract number and order line number. Note... the parts in this assembly is derived from a skeletal model...
This is far to repetitive to use inventors copy design, and its for a client with out vault.
if this can be done... can someone let me know and give some direction and samples of how it could be done.
