Convert iam format to nwd format

How to convert inventor file which is in iam format to naviswork file in nwd format? Without converting iam to dwf first. Any idea?

You need either Navisworks Simulate or Manage I think.

Open navisworks, then open the iam in question, Navisworks converts it across, save as your navisworks file of choice.
