Content Center File Naming issue (FDS Ultimate 2014)

Hi,

I'm trying to place a retaining ring from content center and it has some file naming protocol issue. I tried to edit the library but unfortunatelt standard libraies are all read only.

is there any way to fix this? I checked and the problem is for both S37 and 37 type it uses the same file naming pattern. so if I insert one or the other first it doesnt let me to insert the second one.

Hi 3DAli,

you are right. Standard Content Center is read only. But only as long as they are not copied to a custom library.

Copy affected family to your read/write library

Then switch Library view to your library

Edit family table and now you are able to change the file naming scheme
